Limit Plane

Postby gkas » Sun Sep 08, 2019 3:14 am

I like to cook. So, I decided to model some wood spoons to further my Aspire adventure.

On my first pass, the edge was rough because I use a vector to do the final cut out. I needed to get rid of the cusping. My success with Limit Planes goes up and down like a yo-yo. I watched the King chess piece training video a few times, and finally realized where my mistakes were. After a bit of trial and error I got it working. Now I have a few questions.

I came to the conclusion that my Limit Plane had to be on side2. If I put it on side1, I couldn't carve the bowl of the spoon. It limited out at the zero plane. I moved the limit plane to the second side, and it looks good. Is that an OK method? Is there another method?
