Tool Database OVERHAUL - Do you use the same tool, but want different speeds & feeds for different materials? In V10 you can adjust the parameters based on your material. Then, filter the tools to see only the ones that are compatible.
I'd probably update just for this feature alone

I agree totally...this is a huge upgrade. Hopefully, it can be keyed not just to "material", like wood, foam, etc., but to other factors even in the same material.

The text welding is a nice feature to speed things up, although one must still enter node-edit to insure things are smooth, depending on the particular font.

New /enhanced sculpting tools look good too.

I would use all the new stuff so far!

Come on down 4 sided machining, please.

I upgraded from VCarve 6(?) to Aspire 8 shortly after 8 came out. I skipped 9 as I wasn't doing much at that time and I didn't see enough benefit in it for me personally to make that upgrade. However, will definitely be upgrading to 10 as soon as it comes out.

On the tool video, who noticed that there was also a drop down for machine as well as material? That will be great for me, I have a small machine that can only take up to 1/4" tools and a medium machine that can take up to 1/2" tools. As wb9tpg said, this upgrade alone is nearly worth the upgrade cost for me, but I'll be glad for other things. :)

If you're going to ask for 4, go ahead and ask for 3 or 5 or 6 sided machining using the rotary axis.

Yea, the sculpting enhancements also look interesting...I have a job coming up that could benefit from that actually.
