2 objects to 1?

Post by Robroy »

I need help. New user with Aspire. If I import a file that has two objects, how can I delete one of them? In Vcarve Pro, you could simply select one and delete it. I cannot figure out how to do this. Thanks in advance.

Draw a line between the object where you want to split it. Hit the Scissor Icon which will split it. You will then have two components, that if you don't want one, you can delete it.

Thank you for the response. I drew a line. Then when I went to split it I received the following message.

They might be grouped -- try grouping then delete same as vcarve

Be sure to select the component then hold down the shift key and select the line. Then click on the "Split Selected Component Using a Vector" button
