Well, I wanted to do something nice for the wife for Mother's Day, but life has been pretty hectic lately.
As Friday rolled around and I still didn't have a good idea it occurred to me to check the Design & Make site for inspiration and maybe make her something.
I liked the "Broken Tiles 1" and I think it came out pretty well.
African Mahogany just under 16"x 6"
I still have the glazing to do in order to bring out the details.

Well, instead of glazing went with watered down acrylic paint.
Still have some work to do.
Guess I need to work on my painting skills.
