Allowance Offset

Post by highpockets »

I'm having a senior moment here.... Using the Profile Toolpath I can't seem to get the Allowance Offset to work. No matter what I try it's grayed out. What am I missing?

You cannot do an offset when profiling ON the vector.

Yea, I know that, sorry about the pic was just on the ON vector option when I took the screenshot. I've tried Outside, Inside, Climb and Conventional cuts. Nothing seems to work.

Do you happen to have 'Sharp internal corners' set as an option? If so this will prevent the allowance being used and might be why you are unable to use this option.
