Aspire for Laser and Wood

Post by HaroldBR »

Is there a way to have two instances of Aspire. One set up for wood projects and a second for Laser projects. It's time consuming to have to change setup parameters each time. maybe in a future release there could be a preference for which version is wanted, and select it when program is started.

Which parameters are you changing? You may find that creating a template is all you need. I have several for different job types. Just setup a blank job with all the settings you need, save it as normal Aspire crv3d file and, optionally, set that file to be read-only. Then when you want to start a new job that needs those parameters load that file (I have them pinned to my Aspire jump list on the Windows taskbar) and away you go.

Material setup. For normal wood jobs rapid Z .2" for clearance and plunge with z gap above material .2"
for laser rapid Z .001 clearance and plunge with z-gap at .001
