I was wondering if someone could please explain to me the limitations of nesting? I have a part I want to nest on a 1.25" thick board 6" wide x 48" long. Is this a valid operation? I keep getting an error that says:
Failed to fit part 1 on sheet (651)
Available orientations for part 1 17DB0030 not suitable for nesting. Part not considered for nesting.
I've attached a screen print of my settings for the cutting operations. I can upload the file if that would help.
TIA!

The file will probably help the experts sort your problem, I don't use nesting a lot but first you have a 0.5 inch border so your board is really only 5 inches wide, secondly you have not chosen to rotate parts to fit which may be why your part won't fit

Martin, That was the problem. I don't know how I missed that.
