Weird modeling plane

Post by Wayne Locke »

I imported this Design & Make model and it immediately gave the Modeling Plane this seemingly serendipitous light and dark squares. Now if I open a new file — they are there. If I hide the Modeling Plane they remain on the model. What gives? How do I get rid of it.

What gives?
Wayne,
Perhaps your checkered past is finally catching up with you (just kidding).

Does it do that with every project that you import that clip-art into?
Did you change material size after you started the project?

Damn it. That's it — my checkered past.

It does it now whenever I open a new document.

Yes, I did change the document size when it first happened.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this. It is very distracting. This morning I uninstalled Aspire and reinstalled it. It is version 9.512 on Windows 10 on a Mac with Parallels.
