Hello all. I'm trying to make a plaque for a local organization. In the background of it is the outline of Maine and the top will have 3D images. I've been trying to figure out (without much luck) how to move the 2d outline behind the 3d images so they look to be on top.
Any help would be appreciated.

In the modeling tab, you could create a boundary vector around each of the 3D components. Then use those vectors to trim the 2D vectors. As an option, offset the boundary vectors outward some small amount first so the 2D vectors stop a little short of the components.

As Mike says you will have to trim the 2D vectors & divide your Main outline into a number of different sections that can be done as Mike says by creating boundary vectors for the 3D components & then using the trim tool or the welding/shaping tools

That worked! Perfect. The offset was a great idea. It took me a minute to figure out that I had to ungroup the vectors but I got it to work out.
Thanks for the help!
