Was the file you posted the actual PDF you tried to import? I just imported that into Aspire without any problem, what method are you using to import?
I opened a session of Aspire & used the file- import - selected vectors option got more than your picture shows but not sure if it is all of it lol

Re: PDF Import?
I launched Aspire and did File/Open and selected the PDF file and it appears to get everything. See image. I've also attached the CRV3D file.

Re: PDF Import?
I just tried it on my MacBook Pro running VMware and I cannot replicate the problem.

Re: PDF Import?
Possibly something mac related if those of us running windows on a PC don't seem to be having problems, the difference between yourself & Randall seems to be that you are running parallels & Randall is running wmware player. Would it be possible to ask the customer to send the files again in a different format? I have always found EPS to be about the best format when working with different softwarertfosmoe wrote:Thanks for testing. I just imported my the PDF into CorelDraw and then exported into a DXF. I then imported the DXF into Aspire. It works fine. Its a pain process (I have 30 files to cut), but the process works. I guess the customer who provided me the PDF has some strange PDF software.
If you are having to import into Corel & then export have you tried the PDF export from Corel rather than DXF ? Won't speed up your process unfortunately but just curious

Re: PDF Import?
I suspect that it is a problem with the sub-set typeface used for the letters.
That face is "IM Fell English SC" and is available at https://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/IM_Fel ... sh_SC.font
For interest's sake the application used to create the PDF is something called "Canva".
