United States Map w/states

Does anyone have a good US map that can be just outlined with the states? I tried bringing in a number of images and bitmaping but always getting multiple lines. Looking for something very simple for a kids school project .

Normally I'd suggest using a search engine such as Google, Bing, Qwant, or DuckDuckGo with the phrase: US map with states Illustrator

(substitute: EPS or SVG or vectors for Illustrator if you like)

But I'm feeling a bit generous today and I did it for you:

That wikimedia one does have one drawback in that is has a "gap" between each state's outline.

I suppose technically we should be referring to them as States plus Commonwealths plus the District of Columbia...

This is an Aspire file with all the states except Alaska and Hawaii in layers.
