3d scroll bars

I may be missing something, but I cannot find it in setup options.

When in 2D view you can scroll the view side to side and up and down with the scroll bars. The 3d view does not have scroll bars.
Is it possible to pan when in 3d side to side and up and down without rotating the object?

In the help menu, choose "Help contents". Click on the 3D view in the help document (pdf in V8.5, html in V9), and you'll see the 3D View Controls.

Don't forget Vectric manuals are incredibly well written and helpful.

You can "pan" in the 3D view by holding both mouse buttons down. Zoom with the mouse wheel.

You can also pan by simply pressing down the scroll wheel then moving the mouse in the 3D View while the wheel is pressed down (that’s what I do)
