Fancy That Box Modifications

Post by DHDeitrick »

We would like to use the "Fancy That" box from Michael Tyler as. a learning project at a maker space. We would have the students make some modifications to the basic box using some V-Carved elements for the front, back, sides & top. I really like the font used in the original top. Is the lettering on the top of the box designed as curves or is it a font that has been turned into curves? If it is a font, can anyone figure out what font it is? Picture of the top can be found here:

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

Sounds like a great project for the Maker Space! Now to your question...

Open the Layer Menu.

You will see a Layer named "original Curlz MT text". Turn on that Layer and you will see the original font (in Blue) superimposed on the modified text as a comparison. (The name of the font is "Curlz MT", hence the Layer name.)
