I wish to discover the best way of accurately placing a radius on an internal corner... I know it is easy on a square or oblong ... but on a piece shaped like a fat letter T I am struggling a little...

The fillet tool is the easiest way of doing it. Just click on the angle and it replaces it with the radius.

You can also use the offset set tool by offsetting in and out or use the radius gadget.
