Horizontal & Vertical Line Indicator

In version 8.5 when you draw a line that is exactly horizontal or vertical the indicator at the end of the line turns to a circle with a line drawn through it indicating that the line is exactly horizontal or vertical. This horizontal /vertical indication does not appear in Version 9. Has this nice feature been dropped in Version 9 or is there a way to enable it?

It has been greatly enhanced.
Try turning on Smart Snapping. Should be a icon in the upper right corner of the display, a box with a square vertical and horizontal dotted lines and a triangle.
You can also press F4 to bring up Snap Options.
