I am attempting to use the Texture Toolbox gadget but regardless of how huge I make the offset around the words/logo it still overlaps a bit.
How do I force the Texture Toolbox to respect the offset I've created???

Re: Texture toolbox offset spacing issue
I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it, but I recently did a sign with a texture background. I did a separate offset outline around all the boundaries of the text & graphics, offset enough to stay clear of the original vectors by at least 1/2 the width of the bit. I cut the background and then went back and did a profile cut around the text and graphics using the original non-offset vectors to clean up the edges.

Yes, I have used the same approach to the earlier reply. Offset from the text a fraction more than 1/2 the tool diameter.

If you select the texture and the outline vector, under modeling tools there's the icon that clears the inside of the vector.

I make Textured background all the time. Just use 1/2 the tool you are using and add .003. That works for me. Also make sure the cut length is short enough to get in the small areas.
