Orcrist Sword

When your Grandson ask you to make him a sword from his favorite story with the comment “ Grandpa you can make anything”
What choice do you have than to study hard and brush up on double sided technique and spend hours refining the project. Here is the result made out of basswood using Aspire and two rails sweep

That is nice! I thought that was the real thing you were trying to model, not the finished product! Very nice...joe

Any of the woods that don't float in water....That thing would be DEADLY :)

Very nicely done. Looks very much like the real thing. I am sure he will enjoy it.
