I have been using vectric products for quite some time now and am really satisfied with the 4 programs I use. But the work I do with them is small minor projects and I don't know all the ins and outs of file import and export. I have easily imported files from various graphics and CAD programs to use in my projects, but I have a question about file export.
If I build a 3D file with Aspire, is there a way to export the file as an STL file instead of toolpaths? I apologize if that seems like a newbie question, but I've never had to use stl files before. Secondly, can the models I've purchased and incorporated into my projects be exported in that format also ?
Thank you for your advice and patience,
jim burnette

File export
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

Re: File export
Go to the Model menu on the top menu bar and there is an Export to STL option there for any model/component.
