viewing wide files Landscape vs Protrait

Post by Devlin »

My machine has a 25"X. So When I'm working on a file that is wide, over 25", it is created in Landscape for normal viewing. When ready for cutting I rotate it to Portrait to then make the toolpaths. But now I have a change and I have to re rotate to view it easier the rotate again to do the cut....

Is there an easier way.....
Thanks

I can't think of any other way.
A couple of suggestions if you don't already use them: Keyboard R brings up the rotate tool. Toolpath--Toolpath Recalculate can be used when you are done to calculate all of the toolpaths at one time, assuming that you didn't add any new vectors.
Good judgement comes from experience.
Experience comes from bad judgement.

After selecting all vectors and components use keyboard 9 or 0 to rotate in 45° increments.

Change your machine setup so the X becomes the Y and the Y becomes the X.

Change your machine setup so the X becomes the Y and the Y becomes the X.
Or make a copy of the Post-processor and swap X & Y there. Then you select whichever post-processor you want for the layout.
