aspire looking up

Post by scottart »

after years of no problems with Aspire it has now started locking up every time I am using 3 D models. I have emailed Vectric but have no response.

The system gives me a lock up message and than shuts down Aspire. Sometimes the file is saved, but all work is lost back to any prior save I may have done.

IT also tells me that a diagnostic file has been saved and should be sent to Vectric. but I can not find that based on the location described in the message ( see attached photo)

Any help would be appreciated..

Not sure about the error message, but see if this helps locating the dmp file.

Check if the correct files are created in the location specified. If not create folder.

Most crashes I've had with other software usually involved the video/graphics card and drivers.

Hello Scott,

Could you please e-mail your issue and dump file, along with the steps you took before Aspire crashed to support@vectric.com and hopefully we can come to some conclusion as to what you are seeing.

Thanks in Advance.

Hello Scott,
I have emailed Vectric but have no response.
I replied to an email that may have been from you (the email in question originated from a rather strange looking outlook.com email address)
on Friday morning (before you posted this topic).
It might be an idea to check and spam folders for any email accounts that you have.

Cheers,

Mark.
