Re: brass, copper, aluminum
All cut just as easily as a hard wood.
Just use the proper bits for the job and, obviously, proper feeds and speeds.

Re: brass, copper, aluminum
Brass cuts really really easy. Don't need cutting fluid. Try to be in the free machining 360 alloy variety. SHARP cutters Positive rake
Copper is really soft and really gummy. I don't have experience cutting it, but we do cut it in my factory.
Aluminum - soft and gummy - tends to weld to the cutter. Will benefit from cutting fluid. Some people use WD40 - that's OK. I use Cutting fluid. The most common is 6061-T6 Try to stay away from extruded aluminum. 6005 is an extrude grade and is very very gummy and difficult to machine. Again SHARP cutter, positive rake.
Tap Magic works well - but it's not the fish in the ocean.

I have a brass project on my list, as soon as I can get my design imported and drawn... nice to know no cutting fluid for brass..... does vectric aspire allow me to slow the router down for 360 alloy? Do I just slow the router speed to an approximate speed if I were turning brass on a lathe?

Cutting speeds and feeds are very machine and cutter dependent.
You can go to the manufacturer to get speeds and feeds
