Error code 14663

Post by Henri Monnier »

I am getting this error code on a file that was given to me. Is there a magic sheet somewhere that gives a reason for the error codes? this one comes up shortly after trying to open the file. I am running V9 latest release...
thanks...

Can you post a screen shot of the error message?

Hello Henri,

Error codes of above 1000 are usually the result of a corrupt file and point our developers
to the point in the file that is the cause of the problem.

If you would like to send the file in to us at support, we can check it out for you.

I hope that this helps.

Cheers,

Mark.

When I get that error it is always because the file is corrupt. Usually because the person who created the file remove the thumb drive before the file was done writing, or still in the middle of being used by their software.
