Createing a ramp component

I am having trouble creating a ramp with a verticle back component. Can't seem to wrap my head around how to make it. I need this component as part of a larger component which will then have text applied to the ramp. Can somebody please explain how to create a ramp please.(without using the fluting tool path). Thanks.

See if this helps. Use the beginning and end of ramp as the rails and the shape of the ramp vector to make your ramp...joe
