This might be crazy but I would like to make a double sided simple sign that is bigger than my cnc. I was planning on tiling in 3 sections than glue together after carving and repeat the same with the another sign carve (tile) and than glue together. After these 2 signs are dried than I was planing on gluing both signs together. Now should I put a backing board in between them or just glue the 2 signs together by themselves. After all gluing together it should be about 1.5" thick.
Or do you all think a 34" x 24" x .75" is thick enough for this size and just carve (tile) and cut each side than glue together.
Hope this makes since..
Not really sure how thick the bigger signs should be and by the way I will be using Mariata Pine.
Thank you all for your comments rather good or bad.
