Strange result with aspire 9.1

Post by sawmiller »

Decided to make a mantel, haven't been using 3d.
So I grabbed the soaring eagle in a handcarved recess
And selected it, chose model boundary, and it used the whole face of the mantel..
So I clicked model outline and selected that and finish model, and it dropped down. 39 before carving out the model...
It works as expected in aspire 8.5, so is this a bug?
Haven't tried other models yet, but I'll get back to it later today

So, Maybe the mantel was the entire model ???
Next item of selecting just the vector could be that the "model" was positioned .39 below the top surface of the material block ???
Check in the Material Setup at the top right of the Toolpath screen...or as I call it "The Rigth Side ".
