Dimensioning in 9

I have just updated to 9 and just playing about with it
However, my first problem seems to be dimensioning.

Which tutorial covers this topic

I perform the task exactly as in 8.5 but no value seems to appear

Found out the problem.... the text height was set to 0.2mm

It was that small that I just thought it was smudge

Set to 4mm now I can easily see it
