Thanks for pointing that out. Only on my install the notice was in small blue letters. Version 9.008 available.

Anybody know where I can download the patch to take to my computer that is not on line??

The upgraded version may be on the portal as a download in a few days.

Usually these patches are minor bug fixes. If you haven't noticed or reported any anomalies, you may not notice any improvement with the patch.

Usually, they would be available from http://www.vectric.com/support/program-updates.html ,where you could download the patch executable and run it to update. The page has currently not been updated for V9.0, but should be soon.

Another way to get that executable is to do the update normally on your internet-connected machine, then go into '** Program File */Aspire 9.0' and look for a file called 'Aspire_patch_to_vXXXX.exe'. Take that file to your other machine and run it, and you should have the patch. Only do this if the update finished successfully on

If internet speed is not an issue though, I would certainly recommend getting the latest version from the portal.
