That the corian itself, whatever you use to fill the letters may be a different story, I usually use epoxy which also stands up well but will fade and warp eventually if exposed to alot of UV.

Have made a few of those, looks sharp and professional, unique and no worry about UV. Downside is you are limited to simple letter/number designs without quite an effort, and wastage of material.
