My definition of "imminent"= As soon as it's ready! :D

FYI, it has been my pleasure and honor to witness one of the most streamlined, conscientious, and organized efforts to develop such a substantially upgraded version of the software ever. I don't think the programmers ever sleep and they are extraordinarily responsive and attentive to every detail the Beta testers bring up. Believe me, it is worth whatever inconvenience you may think you are experiencing waiting for this fantastic product!

I would like to add my personal support to what Michael T has said.
As a beta tester for several years, I have been included in this process..
I support the logic of when it's ready, it will be released....
But I know, we all love the excitement of what's yet to be..

I agree with what everyone has said. But, at the same time then, don't publicly announce that it is "imminent" and create user expectations which are not realistic.

I'm thinking the word "imminent" will likely be avoided in the future. The word "soon" might have been less inflammatory, I suppose.

Perhaps the would should have been nascent

nas·cent
adjective
(especially of a process or organization) just coming into existence and beginning to display signs of future potential.
"the nascent space industry"
synonyms: just beginning, budding, developing, growing, embryonic, incipient, young, fledgling, evolving, emergent, dawning, burgeoning
"the nascent economic recovery"

Regardless of whether release is "imminent" or not there is a good preview of the upcoming features of Aspire 9 at the following:

Confused as to why all the teasers are coming through Facebook and Tweets instead of being announced on this forum :? :? :? but this new version is looking to be fantastic. For other "teasers" log into your portal!

Sure hope they fixed the display issues for the wrapping preview for us indexer users in the upcoming release

I am looking at upgrading from 6.5 to 9.0 Vcarve Pro.
What clip art comes with the upgrade?

Thanks

i'm new and have V-Carve. I have had this for a few weeks but haven't even fired it up. Still trying to learn the basics. Where do you recommend I start? Are there any users in Great Falls Montana or nearby?
Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Ed,

Go ahead and start watching the Tutorial videos. Some folks like to set up two monitors with the video showing on one and the software running on the other, so they can follow the steps along with the video.

You have tremendous resources to answer any question you may have...

1) The Owners Manual
2) The tutorial videos
3) This Forum
4) The annual Vectric User Group

Welcome!

Hey Martin.

Good advice! Don’t know if you noticed, but my last post to Ed was made in 2018 (about a year ago).
