I purchased a an STL file that was made with ARTCAM. I can observe the desired results when I import the STL into Aspire. But when I try to preview, I see junk. Can someone please examine the attached *.stl file? I am NOT Mr. Aspire pro. Please tell me what foolish things that I am doing. DO I need to convert to *.dxf?
Note the file is zipped.

Re: File_conversion
While it is an .stl file, it is really a 2D object. No need to convert to a .dxf.
If you see "junk" make sure your material size is as big as the imported .stl file or resize the .stl after import, but prior to saying OK on the import screen.
