New method:
Draw 5 equally spaced horizontal parallel lines. (It doesn't seem to matter where you put them.)
Use the Distort Object tool, Between Two Curves,selecting the parallel lines and then the original curves.
Click the Bake Distortion box. Or close the Distort Objects window, right click on a highlighted vector, and Convert to Curves.
Delete the duplicates of the original 2 curves.
Done.
