I didn't know about this as I said in a previous post, had a look at a couple of clear water based finishes today to see if there was anything written on them which may indicate this but couldn't see anything at all. Is there a way you can tell other than just try every brand & see what works best for the work you are doing :lol: :lol:

Check out targetcoatings.com

They have professional water-based coatings of all kinds. Some can be tinted.

I have their EM6000 in both gloss and satin. Premium coatings (and a premium price too).

Most of their products are for spraying- but they have brushed as well.

I did some tests on ash (notorious for going urine coloured) years ago and it worked a treat.
