I just purchased Aspire after a wonderful year of using VCarve Pro. I'm wondering if I can place raised text over a 3D model without modeling the text? I'm thinking no, but someone may surprise me. I know that I can Vcarve on to a 3D model, but I don't know about outset letters.
I ask this because I seem to have better luck with raised text using a endmill rather then a ball nose.

Re: Raised text
You can if you carefully plan things out
Here's an example of raised text on a 3-D component.
I simply chose the vectors I wanted to cut within as the option in the finishing toolpath.
