Thank you all for the help with making the model. I did make one error on the cabin. I need to tilt the roof section so the mountains don't show through. Any other suggestions are welcome as this is the first time I have combined models together.

I have tried to cut end grain carvings (2 of them) but I cannot get the details to show. I find it depends on the how the shadows fall as to what you see. What did you finish it with, it looks great.
