I have ran into a problem with my tool paths generated for the Shopsabre with ATC. What is happening is the the XY move speeds are not working properly. The other day I ran a job with 5 tools the first tool was a drilling path and the XY move speed was 532 IPM the next path was a milling path using a 1/4" single flute EM the XY move speed should have been 102 IPM but the XY speed stayed at the drilling path move speed of 532 IPM. The Z speed was correct and I could see it in the G code. I sent the code to SS and they told me it was because my XYZ speed is setup the same for that tool and that is why it did not change the XY speed. To me that does not make since I do a lot of spiral ramps and that is why I have set my XYZ speeds the same for several tools other wise it slows the tool path down for these spiral ramps. Is what SS told me correct or is there a problem with my PP?
Thanks Mike

Thank you so much Gary the new PP works great and not only solved the problem but the added features are great. I now get a list of the tool paths and tools to be used with their numbers that is very handy and much better than what I had.

Gary
I to have a ShopSabre without ATC and have always manually edited the files when the PP failed to properly change speeds. I would be very interested in knowing what changes are needed in the PP processor to get it working correctly. I'll send you an email with my PP.
Thanks Larry
