I hate to call something a "bug".
I cannot include the crv3d file because it is too big. . . .grrrrr.
Here are two screenshots, the first is the "anomaly", the second is pathing correctly.

There was no change in model, same tool selection, same everything. The tool is a .5 end mill.
I can run it using the raster along x, so this is not some crisis. . . .what bothers me is that it is easy to miss something like this. This job gets wrapped on the rotary and looks like:
Anyone have any ideas on what is happening to cause the gouge?
Edit: I thought the tool might have been falling off the model, so I duped the model and moved the copy so that it would prevent an empty space at the end of the model. No luck. . . .
