Holiday Gift Ideas and plans
Hi all,
It is that time of year again and as most of you know, handmade gifts are very treasured by all.
With the forum membership growing as rapidly as it is, I thought it may help to start a thread where people can get ideas and download files.
I hope this will be an open thread where others can contribute their projects or provide links to past projects. Project files should be included and all designs the creation of the poster so we don't have any copyright issues.
At the top of the list is definitely the series of monthly projects created by Michael Tyler and sponsored by Vectric. You can find the collection here: http://www.vectric.com/cool-stuff/projects.html
For projects I have contributed:
Bread Cutting Board: http://www.vectric.com/forum/viewtopic. ... ting+board
Simple doll cradle: http://www.vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=7093
Ladies Hand Mirror: http://www.vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18715 and http://www.vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1743
Have fun
Tim

I've had more than 350 requests and downloads for this collapsible coffee cup carrier. Files work with VCarve.

Hi Tim
Here is a Christmas tree I have done,I made 40 of these for girls at our local Church to paint
they are made out of 8mm MDF
Hope this is the kind of thing you were suggesting, just pleased to be able to contribute as I have been on the receiving end of your help on several previous occasions.

Would have been nice if some of these great projects could have been saved in version 3.5 for us poorer hobbyist's (3.5 owners) to take advantage of....just saying.fixtureman wrote:could you post DFX's as some of us don't have the newest version of Aspire

You should take the time to check them as the majority are links to older posts and the files are in previous versions of the software.Would have been nice if some of these great projects could have been saved in version 3.5 for us poorer hobbyist's (3.5 owners) to take advantage of....just saying.

As for the rest, there are many users who didn't own the older versions, or perhaps did not keep the older version on their computer if they upgraded. They can only post with what they have.
