Viktor, et al.,
Thank you for your support. We have finally gotten the new version of Aspire (from 2.5 to 3.5) and now I see that we can import vector bitmaps directly into Aspire.

I couldn't upload any of our parts to help us talk through this better since it is R&D stuff ... not that it is that classified and high-tech, it's just I have to abide by rules of my company.

Anyway, I am eager to see how it all works out with the new software.

Thank you,
Eliot

thank you for follow ups... i hope you get trough with this issue..
as i mentioned earlier, aspire represent well the 3d models...

the modeling side of aspire very great for organic models.. i can say, without aspire i could not make models i made...

this effect actually not a real issue, when you carve a relief, it just comes up when need exact contur..
a succesful solution would help others too..

well... i understand if you cant post the original models, however if those people could make a sample object a block or close similar simple shape, with that sample i could post you steps to show how you can get conturlines of models, they make you..

looking forward what solution coming up you

best regard

Export them as .stl files.

Rather than saving it as an STL try using VRML instead. This will prevent conversion to some nasty polygon mesh.
