Some observations:
Carving is done in layers set by depth of cut of material
The .125" end mill makes 4 identical passes at .1", .2", .3" and finally .4". If the code was optomize so at each move the tool would take 4 pases and mill to depth before moving to next closest location I would expect at least a 50% reduction in run time.
The .5" 60 degree bit makes 2 identical cuts at .25" and .4". Again if the cut to depth before moving to next closest location I would expect a 20% to 40% decrease in run time.
