AXYZ problem

Post by Jonmilligan »

:?: I have been using Vcarve with no problem on a Tekcel router, I have had to change to a Multicam which uses the AXYZ controller, and I seem to have a problem with the profiling toolpath. I tried to cut out a bunch of letters today and the toolpath didnt seem to like cutting out the centre of the O's, R,s. and A's. It would cut some of the way and then ramp out of the cut and start the outside profile, I enclose the Crv file

Hi Jon,

Did you have any luck tracking down the AXYZ Toolpath config option to switch the ramping off?

Tony

 Tony, sorry for the delay in getting back to you about the settings for the Axyz controller, we have been blind panicking at work, trying to clear everthing before the Chrismas break! I have enclosed *.jpg's for you to look at, as far as I can see they are the only settings that I can find that are changable? Also, regarding my post in the Photo Vcarve section,(Will I, Won't I). The machine is a Roland Camm Scribe CS 20, and as I mentioned, no cables or software.
Regards
