I wonder if I'd Reinstall both peices of Software if that would help.

Hummm... I doubt about it; I would see for save as/export settings first and try to re-install at last resort. Import filters in PW are old and further, you need to export fonts as vector(s). VCW deal with "outside files" MUCH more better!... and it toolpath just as much (more in fact)...
