Looking for an Eagle

Postby Phil » Sat Nov 04, 2006 1:54 am

I'm looking for an eagle in a particular pose for a project. I'm including a JPG showing the pose I need. I used Inkscape to convert this one but the feather detail is not very good. I'm hoping someone has a better one.

Phil, the eagle you showed I assume is the free 3D one we just gave away as part of the competition. If so then you should search the web for a US Marine Corps. Logo as that is the eagle from within that and I would think there would be resaonble artowrk of it. Alternately of course you can just cut a 3D one and use that :) Cheers, James

Phil.....

This one is also close, but will require just a bit of 'node' editing
to get what your looking for.... I assume you were looking for
one you could "V-Carve"....

Where do you get your clip art? You keep coming up with excellent stuff.

Phil,

Here's a preview of one of the eagles. The clip art doesn't look like much but it creates the effect of feathers when cut.

Paul Z.....

Don't say to many good things, my head might grow...... :o)

As for the eagle, I have been an 'eagle. fan for years... I've done
Intarsia eagles, scroll saw eages, carved eagles, bandsaw eagles...etc etc...
Plus have been mess'n with cnc since early 90's. I can not remember where
many of the items came from, I even forget I have so many...

The other thing, is over the years I have used several different 'cad-vector'
programs, so have spent many hours editing drawings, both to learn the software
and to refine the artwork. By the way, the program we are all using right now
is by far the simplest to learn, and the easiest to use in MHO !!!
