Z home position

Post by stitchlips »

I am using a slower older machine and everytime z goes up it goes .7840.
How do I change this to be just .25?

I saw a section in the help file under materail setup but I did not have the option for the z home.
Thanks

It's there; toolpath menu (right pannel one; not the Edit menu one; the toolpath menu one relate with the real life [toolpath] material settings while the Edit menu one relate to the drawing mode [2D]), material setup. Set the Z home according to your needs... even the X & Y can be set some where else than 0,0; you don't necessarily need to have the tool back over your part once done.

Does that make sense?
