Looking for a fighting Tarpon

Post by andyb »

Does anyone know where I can get a vector of a Tarpon that in fighting like it has been hooked? Or, even a good JPEG that I can convert. Searched Google and didn't find a good one.

I'm glad someone knew what a Tarpon was. I guess it just proves I spend way too much time indoors.
Take it easy.

Pauls image vectorized with Inkscape and opened straight into VCPro.

Looks great!

Click art 125,000. I remember the license reads something "like the designs may be used for projects but can not be resold as clipart".

If you take the tif into a photo editing program, increase the number of pixels (4X), and then blur the image, sometimes it will improve inkscape's output.

Good luck.

Tarpon 5 really looks nice. Please post the results if you cut it.

PS A short plug for Click Art -- I have found several hundred of the images to be ready to cut with no editing; Thousands more are usable with minimal editing. It's 9 CD's with a variety of formats and it's a great buy. I've seen it as low as $14.95 (US).

Thanks to all that uploaded the tarpon graphics. Here are the two option that I sent to the customer. I may need to clean them up a little more. The other problem is that I have to purchase V-Carve Pro this Friday.   My job was just eliminated the past Friday after 9 1/5 years with the company and I get my severance on Friday. I'm jumping with joy at the opportunity do my CNC work full-time.

Thanks again to all
