Next Wave SharkII Laser Attachment Uses

I am new to the forum and to CNC routing. I have many questions. I purchased a Next Wave Shark II with a laser attachment. I have not been able to ascertain what the power of the laser head is. From the picture that I have seen, mine is the smallest of the three laser attachments shown. I have read the Laser Manual but it doesn't give clear instruction or information on the attachment. I am assuming that it is a 2 watt attachment. Can anyone tell me what its capabilities are? Can I laser cut out objects? What setting do I use to etch plexiglass? etc. Thank you all in advance!
