opening file problem

opening file problem

been trying to open the enclosed file with vcarve 8.5 but no luck
tried with two computers same results.
after i open the zip file i then import the dxf file into vcarve but computers just lock up.
anyone know why?

Imports for me in the older versions but it's very sluggish due to the number of nodes in the drawings. Depending on the speed of your PC it might look like it's locked up.

Adrian's right. It takes some time for it to load in dxf format. I opened the cdr file in Inkscape and saved as svg and pdf formats and both of those loaded much quicker. Lots of nodes. You could probably spend quite a bit of time fixing them but not sure it's worth it. I didn't try to do any toolpaths on it. Good luck.

Thanks everyone i never thought on nodes. yes i dont think its worth it.
