Hi All,
I am designing a wedding plaque with stacked text. I have the design and toolpaths worked out but was wondering if there was a trick for clearing out material. To clarify on the top section, I am using a .25 and a .125 so the .125 will take a while to hog out the rest of the material on the whole sign. Should I draw a box around the top text for the smaller bit to cut a smaller area? I am using desktop. Thanks

When you set up the pocketing toolpaths, you can enter multiple bits. The toolpaths will run larger to smallest bits as needed.

Thanks gkas. I did that however I only needed the smaller bit to clean up the letters and not clear the areas where the larger bit can clear.

Re: Stacked text cut times question
Perhaps you need to enclose an image and/or working file?
A singular pocket toolpath with 2 bits specified (1/4" and 1/8"), as suggested by gkas, should never have the 1/8" cutter cut where the 1/4" cutter does. But "not clear the areas where the larger bit can clear" contradicts that.
