How do I make a concave dome toolpath.

Post by jaru-eri »

I made this knife handle scale by importing a dome clipart inside v-carve and need to know how I can make a concave toolpath from the same dome in order to carve a wooden knife sheath which will fit the end of the handle scale.
Are there anybody here who can help me with this issue? I have V-carve pro 9,5.

Just set the combine mode of the component to subtract, there are a number of ways to do that, One way is if you look at the component tree, highlight the component & right mouse click you will get a fly ot menu, one of the options is combine mode.

Make sure to add a Zero Plan to the Component tree
