Downloading Software

Post by Samson »

Hello to all,

My computer crashed, and it being a Windows 7 machine, I decided to upgrade.
The problem is, I can't seem to find where I download my software in my portal.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you just need to download V-Carve/Aspire go to your Vectric portal, login and download the software. If you are talking about your project files, they would have been on your old computers hard-drive. You might be able to have those recovered by one of the computer service folks. I'm not sure what the cost would be since I've generally done recoveries on my own stuff. Good luck.

You are logging in first?

Did you purchase the software direct for Vectric or did it come with your CNC?

Yes, I'm logged in. It welcomes me with my name.
I purchased the software direct and have done upgrades in the past. I've downloaded the clipart also, without problems in the past. Now, there just isn't anything in my account. It's completely different than when I did the downloads before.

I sent them an email, but I'm sure I'll not hear anything until tomorrow. I was hoping to get back to my project and get it finished in time. I guess that isn't going to happen.

Once you sign in, you scroll down the screen and one of the items is called "Your latest software, clipart and licences" and it should have a view downloads button. I primarily use Google Chrome for my browser needs. Maybe you should try that.

The portal was redesigned a little while ago so if you haven't logged on for some time it will be different to last time.

You should be seeing something like this and it's the "View Downloads" button you want to click on to get your software.

Do you see anything like that at all?
