How to set a tool path on the edge of job size

Post by mikenbrenda »

I'm sure this is simple to most of you i am new, how do I get a tool path on the edge of my job Size exactly? i can draw a rectangle and all of that but how can i make sure it's right on with the edge of my board it's just a rectangle 12x18 but i want to put a nice edge on the board, I can do that with designs because i follow the path of the design, but I just want a nice edge on it with like a 90 degree bit on the side of the edge, like is there a way to have vcarve just place a path like it centers a design with f9, so i know it's right on the edge of the board just a rectangle

Not sure I follow the problem. Why doesn't drawing a rectangle the size of the job work for you?
